Job Description & Responsibilities

Responsible for strategically planning and implementing outreach efforts focusing on physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners (collectively: providers) in the hospital's market/service areas to best grow and develop hospital service lines as described in Tenet's Guidance on Creation and Enhancement of Service Lines at Hospitals and the hospital business plans. The position primarily focuses on educating providers on pre-specified service lines, with the goal of increasing the selection of our services by providers due to our high standards for clinical quality and service. Work to be performed in compliance with the Company's Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures, particularly those involving referral source arrangements.

Qualifications

Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Sales or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Masters in Business or Healthcare preferred.

Experience: 

5+ years of outside sales or marketing , physician relations, network development, medical related sales or related field (or equivalent education and/or experience).

Licensure/Certification: 

Must possess valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and good driving record. This position requires the use of a personal vehicle. Documented business-related mileage will be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis, subject to the filing of the appropriate expense claims form.

Skills: 

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills; ability to project a professional image; ability to do professional presentations; human relations skills; ability to develop professional network contacts; must be self-motivated and organized; ability to multi-task and manage time while working independently under minimal supervision; proficient in MS Office and internet usage. Ability to travel 5% of the time.
