Job Description & Responsibilities

The Marketing & Social Media Summer Intern will support the work of marketing manager on various projects. This role will assist in maximizing client traffic to our website & social media platforms. Experience with marketing and/or event planning is helpful.

This is a three month paid summer internship, $12 per hour, up to 29 hours per week, flexible schedule Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

Demographics

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Education
    • Must be a current college senior at CSU Stanislaus, UC Merced, or University of the Pacific
    • OR have recently graduated within the last 12 months from one of the above universities
    • OR be a current college student at Modesto Junior College in their last year of an AA or AS degree program who either (1) does not plan on transferring to a university or (2) plans to take time off to work before transfering to a university.
  • Must be willing to undergo eligibility for college internship.
  • Must be a Stanislaus county resident.

Skills

  • Office Skills: Highly organized professional who is open to new ideas and learning.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Events and trainings hosted by organization 
  • Social Media: Familiarity with Social Media helpful (Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn) 
  • Computer Skills: Use of Canva, Excel & Word-Adobe CC (Not required, but helpful)
