Stanislaus Community Foundation seeks an energetic, seasoned development professional to join our dynamic team. Stanislaus Community Foundation is a public charity and place-based funder created by and for the people of Stanislaus. Along with administering more than 140 unique charitable funds with close to $40 million in assets, Stanislaus Community Foundation has distributed over $15 million in grants and scholarships to the community since opening doors in 2002. Responsibilities

The Director of Development and Donor Engagement builds the charitable assets under management of Stanislaus Community Foundation (SCF) by working directly with prospective and current donors as well as professional advisors and other referral sources. Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, the Director of Development and Donor Engagement creates and executes an annual plan that generates growth in charitable funds, contributions into existing funds, and estate/planned gifts. The Director stewards relationships with individuals, families and corporations as well as professional advisors. The Director is also responsible for the development of donor-facing tools and strategies that further the philanthropic impact of current donors who give through SCF to local organizations and causes. The Director creates and executes strategic marketing tactics that include publications and special events for key constituents.

Qualifications

Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or related field of study is required
    Experience:
    • CRM/Relational donor database: 5 years (Preferred)
    • Development/Fundraising: 5 years (Preferred)
